Hey there!

My name is Laura and I am a Registered Nurse and Health Visitor.

I qualified as a Nurse in 2013 in the adult brunch.

After a few years, I transitioned into Public Health and studied to become a Health Visitor working with families and young children and soon became Team Leader of a locality.

Recently, I left the communityvand I transitioned into the world of Adult Safeguarding back in the acute. You will find me atCroydon University Hospital which is where I trained as a student and haven't left since (lucky them)!

Earlier last year, I was nominated and shortlisted for a Nursing Times award for

Practice Supervisor of the Year. I am in the process of setting up an Insta account called #Nofilterhealthvisitor whereby I plan to debunk all the myths and positively false information sold on social media platforms. This trend is captivating parents into being sold a dream and an ideal which unfortunately can be so far from many parent's realities and undermine intuition.

My passions include Homelessness, Poverty, Modern Day Slavery and Humanitarian Work.
